All you need to download Open EPUB eBooks is software that supports EPUB files. You can use Adobe® Digital Editions (Windows® / Mac®) or OverDrive® Media Console™ (Android™ / BlackBerry® / iPhone® / iPad®). You can also enjoy Open EPUB eBooks using the EPUB software of your choice. How can I learn more about the formats and software available at this site? Can I download a title multiple times during the checkout period? Yes. Download titles during the checkout period from the My Digital Bookshelf page. How can I see titles that are available for check out right now? Use the 'Advanced Search' page. To display all of the titles that are available for check out right now, check the 'Only show titles with copies available' box on the 'Advanced Search' page. You can also further narrow your search, by Subject or Format, for example. Enhanced titles come with additional material provided by the publisher. Once you have checked out an enhanced title, you will be able to download the title and the additional material. An enhanced title counts as a single checkout. Is there a mobile version of this website? Yes. The mobile version should display automatically when you access http://ebooks.mcls.org on your mobile device. I am trying to access this site on my mobile device, but my browser shows the standard site instead of the mobile site. What should I do?
If you still have problems accessing the site, please email support. Be sure to tell us which device you have as well as the Internet browser and version that you are using. I got a 'Security warning' error in Android while browsing this site. What should I do? Sometimes the Android Browser doesn’t have access to the most up-to-date security certificates, and thinks our website is a potentially dangerous page. We regularly update these certificates to ensure maximum security for you. When I search for an author only some of his or her books are available. Why aren’t all of the author’s books available? Not all books are available as digital books, but titles are being made available continually, and our collection is growing. Titles not currently available or not currently in our collection may be available in the future. |
